has anyone used The Mortgage Modification Consultants for a home loan modification?

Why would you pay someone to do something you can do yourself for free AND take the 3 or 4 grand they will want from you and put it towards your mortgage payments or closing costs to refi? Doesn’t make sense to me! Also, a lot of these places will charge you an up front fee and do squat and you still are out the fee!
