Senator Clinton’s plan will curb mortgage abuses, assist families facing foreclosure, and expand affordable housing to protect the American dream of home ownership. She will introduce her plan when Congress returns in September.
Whether or not her proposal works is not known. All we do know is that the Republicans aren’t doing a thing to protect homeowners.

LOL. Do you work for her?
Most people i know are DOING great right now. Its easy to buy a home if you are resposible, have a job, and have some money saved. But of course these are hardworking Americans who realize that the current president has little to no impact on their everyday lives. Clintons plan wont change anything for the average american. Like most democrats she will tax the wealthy and give to the bottom 10%. Therefore few people will notice any change in there lives with Clinton on board.

I don’t think it’s good to guarantee anyone’s financial "dream," that means in any market that you have to prevent someone else from benefiting from market action. Engineering the real estate market to perpetually inflate is sysnonymous with paramid or Ponsi schemes; it is always the last person to buy that contributes wealth to the previous buyer. The wealth comes from that buyer, not from the value of the commodity.
However, I do think that full disclosure is lacking in the industry. To my knowledge, buyers aren’t presented with enough information to make an informed investment decision. They are expected to simply buy what they like. This assumes that they are wealthy enough to not call – or simply weighs the market against those who will end up having to sell during disadvantageous market conditions, simply because personal finances are hurting.
Every buyer should be aware of how much perceived value has been added to any property. I believe this is the single-most important factor in making an informed decision when buying real estate. Perceived value should be indicated adjacent to the buying price any time the buying price is indicated. The buyer should indicate by signature that he/she understands what perceived value is and that it is an acceptable cost.
I would argue further that ANY added value be formally acknowledged acurrately as possible and that attempts to circumvent this formality be viewed legally as an attempt to embezzle using the sale of real estate as a tool for the crime.
